International Orders

Roma Standard Poppy Umbrella

International Postage Costs

Umbrellas can be ordered and despatched to countries outside the United Kingdom. These orders will be despatched by air mail. For our walking-length umbrellas (Roma, Birdcage or Golf) we use a fully tracked and insured courier.

International postage costs can be expensive for the walking-length umbrellas. Rembrella is a very small company and we regret we cannot offer heavily discounted postage prices compared to larger companies with worldwide international shipping contracts.

Tax Exemption on Goods & Postage

Our online order form will automatically calculate the amount of your order excluding or including UK Value Added Tax (VAT) of 20% tax as appropriate. Tax exemption for an order despatched from the United Kingdom is as follows.

Import Duty & Taxes Payable

Please note: Rembrella Ltd. as the seller is not responsible for the payment of any customs duty or broker's handling release fee in addition to the cost of the postage amount stated on your order.

When the goods arrive in the country of delivery, some countries may require customs duty and a broker's handling fee to be paid before releasing the goods to you as the customer. In other cases a form will accompany your parcel to inform you how much you owe or any payment due can be accepted by the delivery agent.

The duties and payment due will depend on the country's maximum value of imported goods purchased from overseas or gifted to an individual before duty rates apply.

Parcels despatched to international destinations outside the United Kingdom will carry a CN22 customs declaration form and a Commercial Invoice (showing the cost of the goods only) provided by Rembrella. This should provide the customs authorities with the information they require and which should enable your imported parcel to proceed through customs without a delay. This is not a guarantee, however, that there will be no delay to the parcel's onward delivery to you the customer.
