To comply with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (as amended by SI689 2005) Rembrella Limited is required to provide you with terms and conditions regarding your purchase. Your statutory rights under the current consumer protection laws are not affected.

4. The Poppy Umbrella is authorised for sale by Rembrella Ltd. either from the website at www.greatwar.co.uk or by mail order, or from retail outlets and catalogues who have an agreement to receive The Poppy Umbrella stock from Rembrella Ltd.

Payment

1. Online payment by credit or debit card to Rembrella Ltd. is made via a secure link from The Poppy Umbrella order form on www.greatwar.co.uk via Secure Hosting.

2. Payment by cheque should be made payable to Rembrella Ltd. and sent to Rembrella, PO Box 1418, Salisbury SP2 0ZY, England.

3. Rembrella aims to process your order on the day or the next working day that your order for goods is submitted.

4. An automated reply in response to the submission of your order will confirm that your order has been received by Rembrella Ltd.

5. When your payment to Rembrella Ltd. has been authorised we will despatch your goods enclosing an invoice for your order and the acknowledgement of your payment. If you have ordered the goods as a gift to be sent to a third party we will send the invoice to you by email or by post.

Delivery

1. We aim to despatch your goods enclosing an invoice/acknowledgement of payment to you (or alternatively a delivery note to your giftee) on the same day or the next working day following the authorisation of your payment.

2. Delivery to UK, BFPO, EU and Europe: Goods are despatched by Royal Mail post.

3. Delivery to international destinations outside Europe: Goods are despatched by Royal Mail air mail packet or parcel post as appropriate depending on the size of the umbrella. Customers are advised that there may be customs duty charges on receiving goods into the country from the UK. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay all of these charges unless otherwise agreed with Rembrella Ltd.

4. Delivery of bulk orders (UK & International): Goods are despatched by carrier. Rembrella Ltd. will advise costs and delivery schedules to be agreed by the customer in advance of shipping the goods.

5. On the date of the despatch of your order we will send an email to advise you when to expect the arrival of your goods. In the event that the goods do not arrive within a reasonable time after the expected date of delivery you should contact Rembrella Ltd. by email at or by telephone on +44 (0)1344-989 802. In the unlikely event that the goods are lost in transit we will require written confirmation from you that you have not received the goods and we will offer the despatch of replacement goods to you.

Rembrella’s Right to Cancel

Rembrella Ltd. reserves the right to cancel an order in the following circumstances:

1. If for reasons beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to an inability or failure on the part of the manufacturers or suppliers of the goods to supply the goods to us, we are unable to supply the goods to you, we may cancel the agreement at any time before the goods are delivered by giving notice to you. Any sums paid by you (or on your behalf) will be repaid promptly.

2. We are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment and you do not respond to an email, telephone call or letter from us in this respect.

3. An error in the pricing or product description is identified by Rembrella Ltd.

Returns & Refunds

Our returns and refunds policy is in accordance with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (as amended by SI689 2005). This law applies to all business to consumer transactions within the UK where a consumer does not meet the vendor.

Your Right to Cancel: 7 Day Cooling Off Period

1. As a consumer shopping for goods on the internet, by phone, by fax, by mail order, interactive TV or text messaging you have a 7 day cooling off period which gives you the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund. You do not need to give a reason for cancelling your purchase with Rembrella Ltd.

2. The 7 day cooling off period starts from the day after the goods are delivered to you. Your rights of cancellation end after 7 working days counting from the day following delivery.

3. Should you wish to cancel your purchase within the 7 day cooling off period, you must confirm this to Rembrella in writing, including your name and address. Send your cancellation either by email to , by fax to 01344-670 350 or by letter to Rembrella Ltd., PO Box 1418, Salisbury SP2 0ZY, England.

4. Any sum paid by you to Rembrella Ltd. will be refunded within 30 days of your order being cancelled. If you have paid by credit or debit card your refund will be made direct to the credit or debit card used in the original transaction. If you have paid by any other means Rembrella Ltd. will post a cheque to you.

Return of Goods Following a 7 Day Cooling Off Period Cancellation

1. If you have cancelled your purchase in writing during the 7 day cooling off period you must return the goods which have already been delivered or are in transit to you.

2. You must take reasonable care of the goods whilst they are in your possession. The goods must be returned to Rembrella in a saleable condition and as they were received by you.

3. You are responsible for the payment of the return of the goods.

4. You are advised to wrap the product carefully to avoid damage when it is returned. Please enclose your name and address and Rembrella’s invoice reference number. You are advised to return the goods by recorded delivery. Proof of postage will not be accepted as proof of delivery. Rembrella Ltd. cannot accept liability for returned goods damaged in transit.

5. In the event that the goods fail to be returned to Rembrella Ltd. or the charge for their return is at the expense of Rembrella, the direct costs of their recovery can be offset from the refund of the sum being repaid to you.

Returns & Refunds

1. Faulty goods or dissatisfaction: Goods are checked by Rembrella before despatch. However, in the event that you find a fault with the goods or you are dissatisfied with the goods supplied because they do not conform to contract, and a replacement is not acceptable, a refund will be made. The goods need not be returned unless requested by Rembrella for the purpose of investigation of the reported fault. In this case Rembrella will refund or arrange payment for the return of the goods. You must contact Rembrella Ltd. in writing, including your name, address and Rembrella’s order reference number either by email to , by fax to 01344-670 350 or by letter to Rembrella Ltd., PO Box 1418, Salisbury SP2 0ZY, England.

2. Damage in transit or late delivery: Rembrella relies on the Royal Mail postal service or carrier (where applicable) to provide safe delivery of the goods you have ordered. If damage has occurred to the product during delivery please contact Rembrella in writing immediately it is received, including your name, address and Rembrella’s order reference number either by email to , by fax to 01344-670 350 or by letter to Rembrella Ltd., PO Box 1418, Salisbury SP2 0ZY, England. You will be required to hold the item(s) by Royal Mail or the carrier for their investigations. Rembrella will offer replacement goods or a full refund will be made to you.

3. Advice on returns/refunds for your giftee: If the goods ordered were a gift to a third party from you, the goods will be sent with a delivery note advising the giftee to contact Rembrella immediately if there is a fault with the goods or there has been damage to the goods in transit.

Data Collection

1. The information collected from you at the time you place an order (or those you gift to) is used purely to carry out your instructions and action your payment. This data will include your name and address, your email address, credit or debit card details (or other payment method details) in order to complete a transaction and fulfil your order.

Privacy & Disclosure

1. Rembrella Ltd. respects your right to privacy. There are no circumstances under which the information we collect will be passed to a third party unless it is required to perform the service we provide for you. Rembrella Ltd. may use your email address to contact you about future products but you may unsubscribe from these emails and we will not contact you again.

2. We will only contact you in connection with your instructions and keep you informed should we have any difficulties providing you with the goods you have ordered.
