To comply with The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations Rembrella Ltd. is required to provide you with terms and conditions regarding your purchase. Your statutory rights under the current consumer protection laws are not affected.

  3. Rembrella Ltd. reserves the right to change manufacturers of the product which may result in a slight modification to the product currently in stock.
  4. The Poppy Umbrella is authorised for sale by Rembrella Ltd. from the website at www.rembrella.co.uk, by mail order with cheque payment, or from retail outlets and catalogues who have an agreement to receive The Poppy Umbrella stock from Rembrella Ltd.

Payment

  1. The country of Merchant Location of Rembrella is the United Kingdom. Transactions by Rembrella Ltd. are in the currency of United Kingdom Sterling (Great Britain Pound).
  2. Goods are the property of Rembrella Ltd. until payment has been settled in full.
  3. Online payment: Rembrella Ltd. is PCI DSS Compliant and has no access to cardholder data. The secure order form on www.rembrella.co.uk for payment by credit/debit card uses the services of a Payment Service Provider (PSP) called Secure Hosting at Universal Payment Gateway plc. On the order page for cardholder details a solid padlock in the browser status bar indicates that encryption is taking place using 256 bit SSL, the strongest commercial level of encryption. Your cardholder data will be encrypted at all times whilst in transit over the internet. When you have submitted your order an automated reply confirming your transaction reference, date, time and total amount due in Sterling will be sent to the email address you have provided. If you do not receive an automated email you can contact Rembrella Ltd. by email on orders@rembrella.co.uk or by telephone at +44-1344-989 802.
  4. Payment by cheque (drawn on a United Kingdom bank in Sterling) should be made payable to Rembrella Ltd. and sent to Rembrella Ltd., 12 Oak Ash Green, Wilton, Salisbury SP2 0RR, England.
  5. Rembrella aims to process your order within 2 working days of your online payment for goods being authorized or when a payment by cheque has cleared.
  6. A sales invoice confirming the card transaction, if appropriate, will be enclosed with the goods when they are despatched as an acknowledgement and receipt of your payment. If the goods are to be delivered to a third party as a gift the sales invoice/receipt will be sent to you by email in pdf format or posted if requested. Card transactions will appear as payment to www.rembrella.co.uk on your statement, which is the authorized website address used for transactions with our third party Payment Service Provider Universal Payment Gateway plc.

Delivery

  1. Rembrella Ltd. aims to despatch the goods on the next working day following the authorisation of your payment. During busy periods the goods will be despatched within 28 days of the date of receipt of the order.
  2. Delivery to UK, BFPO, EU and Europe: Goods are despatched by post using Royal Mail, courier or Parcelforce postal services.
  3. Delivery to international destinations outside Europe: Goods are despatched by Royal Mail air mail small parcel or by international courier air mail parcel post. Customers are advised that there may be customs duty charges on receiving goods into the country. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay all of these customs or duty charges.
  4. Delivery of bulk orders (UK & International): Goods are despatched by carrier or by post. Rembrella Ltd. will advise costs and delivery schedules to be agreed by the customer in advance of shipping the goods.
  5. On despatch of your order Rembrella Ltd. will send an email to advise you when to expect the arrival of your goods. If the goods do not arrive within a reasonable time after the expected date of delivery you should contact Rembrella Ltd. by email at orders@rembrella.co.uk or by telephone on +44 (0)1344-989 802. In the unlikely event that the goods are lost in transit we will require written confirmation from you that you have not received the goods and we will offer to despatch replacement goods to you.

Rembrella’s Right to Cancel

Rembrella Ltd. reserves the right to cancel an order in the following circumstances:

  1. If, for reasons beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to an inability or failure on the part of the manufacturers or suppliers of the goods to supply the goods to us, we are unable to supply the goods to you, we may cancel the agreement at any time before the goods are delivered by giving notice to you. Any sums paid by you (or on your behalf) will be repaid promptly.
  2. We are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment and you do not respond to an email, telephone call or letter from us in this respect.
  3. An error in the pricing or product description is identified by Rembrella Ltd.

Returns & Refunds

Our returns and refunds policy is in accordance with The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations.

14 Day Cooling Off Period: Your Right to Cancel

  1. As a consumer shopping for goods on the internet, by phone, by mail order, interactive TV or text messaging you have a 14 day cooling off period which gives you the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund including the outbound delivery cost. You need not give a reason for cancelling your purchase.
  2. The 14 day cooling off period starts from the day after the goods are received by you and your rights of cancellation end after the 14 days.
  3. If you wish to cancel your purchase within the 14 day cooling off period, you can ring Rembrella Ltd. on +44-1344-989 802 or confirm in writing, including your name and address, by email orders@rembrella.co.uk or by letter to Rembrella Ltd., 12 Oak Ash Green, Wilton, Salisbury SP2 0RR, England.
  4. Any sum paid by you to Rembrella Ltd. will be refunded within 30 days of your order being cancelled. If you have paid by credit or debit card your refund will be made direct to the credit or debit card used in the original transaction. If you have paid by any other means Rembrella Ltd. will post a cheque to you.

14 Day Cooling Off Period: Return of the Goods & Your Refund

  1. If you cancel your purchase during the 14 day cooling off period you should return the goods within 14 days of your cancellation.
  2. You must take reasonable care of the goods whilst they are in your possession. The goods must be returned to Rembrella Ltd. in a saleable condition and as they were received by you. Rembrella Ltd. has a right to deduct monies from refunds where goods show unreasonable use leading to diminished value.
  3. You are responsible for the payment of the return delivery of the goods. Recommended method of delivery for returns: Telescopic Minilite umbrella(s) by Royal Mail (2nd Class small parcel Signed-For from £3.90); Standard/Golf/Birdcage walking length umbrella(s) can be posted with Parcelforce at a post office (from £11.99 including tracking) or by courier (from approx. £10.00 incl. tracking).   4. You are advised to pack and seal the product carefully in suitable packaging to avoid damage on the return delivery. Enclose your name, address and Rembrella’s invoice reference number. Rembrella Ltd. will not accept liability for returned goods if they are damaged in transit due to unsuitable packaging.
  5. In the event that the goods fail to be returned to Rembrella Ltd. or the charge for their return is at the expense of Rembrella Ltd., the direct costs of their recovery may be offset from the refund of the sum being repaid to you.
  6. The amount paid to Rembrella Ltd. for your purchase will be refunded to you within 14 days of the returned goods being received by Rembrella Ltd. If you have paid by credit or debit card your refund will be made to the credit or debit card used in the original transaction through the Payment Service Provider securely accessible by Rembrella Ltd. If you have paid by other means Rembrella Ltd. will post a cheque to you.

Faulty Goods or Dissatisfaction

  1. In the event that you find a fault with the goods or you are dissatisfied with the goods supplied because they do not conform to contract, and a replacement is not acceptable, a refund will be made. The goods need not be returned unless requested by Rembrella Ltd. for the purpose of investigation of the reported fault. In this case Rembrella Ltd. will refund or arrange payment for the return of the goods. You must contact Rembrella Ltd. in writing, including your name, address and Rembrella’s order reference number either by email to orders@rembrella.co.uk or by letter to Rembrella Ltd., 12 Oak Ash Green, Wilton, Salisbury SP2 0RR, England. Damage in transit or late delivery

  1. Rembrella Ltd. relies on the Royal Mail postal service or courier (as applicable) to provide safe delivery of the goods you have ordered. If damage has occurred to the product during delivery please contact Rembrella Ltd. in writing immediately it is received, including your name, address and Rembrella’s order reference number either by email to orders@rembrella.co.uk or by letter to Rembrella Ltd., 12 Oak Ash Green, Wilton, Salisbury SP2 0RR, England. You will be required to hold the item(s) by Royal Mail or the courier for their investigations. Rembrella Ltd. will offer replacement goods or a full refund will be made to you.
  2. Advice on returns/refunds for your giftee: In the unlikely event there is a fault with the goods or there has been damage to the goods in transit the giftee can contact Rembrella and a replacement will be offered.

Data Collection

Information collected from you at the time you place an order is used only to fulfil your order. This data will include your name and address, email address (if applicable) and telephone number in order to fulfil your order.

  1. Online transactions: You enter your credit/debit card details into a secure online order form to be processed by Payment Service Provider (PSP) Secure Hosting at Universal Payment Gateway plc. The card transaction is notified to Rembrella Ltd. by Secure Hosting (Universal Payment Gateway plc). Rembrella Ltd. has authorized access to the authorized transaction in order to process the order but does not have access to the cardholder data. Rembrella Ltd. does not handle or store cardholder data. Rembrella Ltd. holds valid PCI DSS compliance.

Privacy & Disclosure

  1. Rembrella Ltd. respects your right to privacy. There are no circumstances under which the information we collect to process your order will be passed to a third party unless it is required to perform the service we provide for you.
  2. Rembrella Ltd. will only contact you in connection with your instructions and keep you informed should we have any difficulties providing you with the goods you have ordered.
